Rev. Fr. Anargyros Stavropoulos faithfully serves as the Presiding Priest of the Hellenic Orthodox Community of Astoria and as the Dean of our St. Demetrios Cathedral of Astoria since September of 2022, providing pastoral leadership to the parishes of Saint Demetrios and Saints Catherine and George. Deeply committed to liturgical life, Orthodox education, and spiritual care, Father Anargyros plays a central role in the sacramental and community life of the faithful. His steady presence, humility, and devotion continue to inspire parishioners of all ages across our churches and schools.
